Customer Service Representative (f/m/d)

PacTech USA, Inc. located in Santa Clara, CA is is looking for a customer service representative to join our growing team. This opportunity is for full time permanent position and comes with a full package of benefit and personal growth potential.

We are a subsidiary of a globally operating corporation offering wafer bumping and advanced packaging services. PacTech has been serving the semiconductor industry providing wafer plating, soldering and die sort subcontractor processing since 1995. PacTech, with Headquarters in Germany, was acquired by Nagase Group, a multi-billion dollar Japanese trading house, in 2013.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Representative has responsibility for pre/post sales and logistics support to Sales Manger and Customers in the USA. This position is responsible for on-time Order Entry, Internal coordination with Logistic/Sales/Manufacturing/QA, communicating delivery schedules to customers, general Inquiries to achieve total customer satisfaction and build customer relationships.

Your tasks:

  • Responsible for the entire order fulfillment process. From order-related information requests, order entry, communicating delivery schedule, issuing daily shipment and updating WIP reports. When applicable, upload manufacturing status to customer portal.
  • Coordinate with all other epartments such as shipping/receiving, accounting, manufacturing, engineering, sales and management on manufacturing priorities, issues and schedule changes. Ensure correct planning and lead time commitments are clearly communicated to all groups.
  • Established and maintains customer relationships through professional and proactive communications. Maintain regular contact with customers and provide proactive, accurate responses to scheduling changes or issues.
  • Respond to new inquiries via e-mail or phone from customers regarding pricing, manufacturing delays, capacity planning, and post sales issues.
  • Process new purchase orders, reconcile blanket PO’s and send invoice request to accounting.
  • Coordinate with accounting team to set up new customers, credit checks and aged accounts receivables.
  • Escalate to management as needed to resolve quoting, booking or revenue issues.
  • Articulate specific ideas on how to further refine systems or processes.
  • Participates in special projects as needed or requested by the Company.

Your profile:

  • At least 3 years order fulfilment/customer service representative/ and/or /sales operations experience in a technical, fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent to the requirement or evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Previous experience utilizing Salesforce would be beneficial.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO quality standards and ITAR regulations would be beneficial.
  • Flexible and responsive; able to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment, meet aggressive deadlines, and work on a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Logical thinking, strong team player, multi-tasking.
  • Comfort working with multiple teams and colleagues from various management levels and global locations.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
  • Thoroughness/Attention to Detail.
